Description
This is designed to straddle a bath and hold various soaps, shampoos, dispensers, loofahs… what ever you might need to store.
The overall legth is 750mm (29.5").
Each part is designed to fit on a 256mm bed (i.e. a Bambu P1S/P1P/X1C).
The 3 large pieces (end L, mid, end R) print flat on the bed with no supports. You need 1 of each.
The feet should be printed in TPU or similar so it grips the bath. I'd say 4 at each end is the minimum needed. There are holes along the length if you want extra support or to stop the bath bridge sliding.
These are designed to print with the largest flat side down so layer lines run opposite top the big parts. Glue them into the appropriate hole. Do a dry fit first and sand down slightly if it's too tight.
You'll need 4x pin big for joining the pieces.
Extra pin big & pin small can be printed to reinforce the layer lines if desired. I'd recommend this for PLA and similar, but with ABS/ASA/PETG/etc, these parts are probably not needed.
I decided to print in ABS. With parts this big, that's a challenge!
Use a decent brim, maybe some glue/sludge. Another tip for ABS I saw was to place small magnets on the brim when your print gets high enough - I'll be trying this in a few days.
I ran out of filament as the centre part warped on me. Once the new filament arrives, I'll try again. In saying that, the end R piece came out perfect. All the pieces printed are insanely strong.
I'll update this listing when I try again.
