Gridfinity rulers and engineer's square holder

Highlights

• Gridfinity holder for four rulers and a mini engineer's square.
• Ruler slots:
  • 318mm long x 1mm thick. Should fit most 300mm steel rules (x2).
  • 248mm x 2mm thick (x1).
  • 208mm long x 2mm thick (x1).
• Occupies an 8x1 Gridfinity footprint.
• The length meant it was too large to print in one piece on my MK3S, so I split it in half and joined it with dowels (using PrusaSlicer's excellent “cut” feature). I have included a 3mf project file with the split components and connecting dowels. The model in the photos is the result of printing this exact project.

Print

• I used Sunlu PLA+, with mouse ears on the corners to reduce warping.

• Fusion 360 model file is included in case you need to tweak.

Origin

• Model uses the Fusion 360 Gridfinity base found in the Gridfinity Master Collection.
