Description
Hinge for cheap toilet seat. The mounting of the toilet seat seems pretty common as far as I have seen so far, perhaps someone can use it. FreeCAD file is included.
For now printed in PLA without special settings, will print in PETG if PLA breaks too soon. The original has a metal bolt inside the plastic pin (see pictures), so I was sceptical if my test print in PLA even works once, but so far it seems to work. (Perhaps the metal pin inside was the reason it broke in the first place…)
I printed this on my Bambu Lab P1S, which is quite good with tolerances, and the print provides a nice tight fit, but was not difficult to mount on the toilet seat. If you have difficulties with the fit, you should be able to scale the model in the slicer accordingly, or you can change directly the FreeCAD file (FreeCAD is open source and not too difficult to use).
