Description
A total redesign of my old v1 paint tube holder, this time as a modular system to support various formats of tubes.
Supported formats:
Each slot is a combination of two ellipses, whose length and width are specified in millimeters.
You might notice that for the larger plate slot 1 is off center and a bit cropped on the sides. I did my best to fit it in.
If you want me to add a new format, feel free to comment in the comment section. Please give me the dimensions, as well as the brand name and volume of the tube.
Initially I was going to make the slot plate rotatable, but ultimately decided that there's not much practical use for the rotation (besides it just being cool).
Tested with a 0.4 mm nozzle, and just the default settings for everything, I guess.
No supports required.
Personally, I think it looks cooler if printed with more than one color. Specifically, using a metallic filament gives it a more steampunk look. Play with it and just be creative :)
I am looking forward to any feedback. Especially concerning more tube formats.
