Description

1. Introduction

This simple adapter gives you the abbality to properly plug-in your Festool vacuum cleaner onto your Makita mitre saw.

3. Printing Instructions
  • PETG recommended
  • Layer Height: use 0,2 Speed
  • Min 2 perimeters
  • No Support required
  • Min 15% infill
  • Infill Pattern: Archimedean Chord
  • Top and Bottom Layer Pattern: Archimedean Chord
  • Seam: Rear
  • Variable Layer Height: Adaptive with Quality/Speed = 0,5 and Smooth with Radius = 5
  • Positioning: according to 3mf files (makita side on the bed)

4. Materials for Assembly (BOM)

  • The printed parts
  • Festool plug
  • Makita mitre saw

 

5. Manufacturing and Assembly Instructions
  1. Just download the relevant files and print it.
  2. Clean the parts, remove burrs, etc.
  3. Put the adapter onto the mitre saw.
  4. Plug-in your Festool vacuum cleaner using the arrows as a visual guide. (slide and turn right)

 

 

5. Notes
  • G-code files only made for MK3S+. The file contains some custom lines to add a pre-heating before the printing to avoid oozing during the mesh bed levelling.
  • Do not use the g-code file on other machines than MK3S+ ! In any case, I recommend you to slice the .3mf files by yourself to make your own g-code files.
