Description
This bracket attaches to the wall via the screw holes in a standard US outlet box where you would normally screw in an outlet or switch. It then attaches to the WAP (wireless access point) using the bracket that is included in the box with the EAP660HD, and a few screws/washers and wing nuts. This allows for easy mounting of this WAP on walls, as well as allows easy removal for service/maintenance
Outlet Box I used: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Southwire-Smart-Box-1-Gang-Adjustable-Depth-Device-Box-MSB1G/203340257
NOTE: Do not install into an outlet box that is being used for house wiring or something other than ethernet wiring and only ethernet wiring. I installed a new, completely empty box for the purpose of mounting this WAP, and then ran CAT6 to this outlet box and the WAP.
