Description
The Flat Pack Eiffel Tower by Physics Dude is a flat pack of two parts that can be shifted into each other to make the Eiffel Tower. It was first uploaded in 2015 to Thingiverse. It is printed flat.
I noticed that the slots are not deep enough.
I decided to adjust the original model in Inkscape. The model was first converted to a 2D svg file (with OpenSCAD), which was edited (with Inkscape) and then converted back to a 3D stl file (with OpenSCAD).
I used PLA with a nozzle of 0.4 mm and a layer height of 0.20 mm.
The svg file and the OpenSCAD script that I used to convert it are both available, but only the stl file is needed to print the 3D model.
If the slots do not fit well, then I suggest to use the "XY Size Compensation" in the slicer.
