Give your Elegoo Neptune 4 Plus/Max a spine, a cable chain spine

After setting up my Neptune 4 Plus I thought it was a pretty big shame that there was no cable management. It just looks sloppy. Looking at marketing material there is nothing done to spruce up the look. Always thought this chain has a very unique organic look. 

Use these 5 files clean things up nicely and require no additional hardware. Existing screws attach the Z bracket and the hotend and base clips just snap on. All the rest snaps together. The models allow the spine to go from the the base of the printer into the hotend. When looking at the pictures you'll see my fan bar is removed and the cable to it is tucked into the chain.

You do loose height installing this. The Z bracket does not get in the way, but the spine does, and you can always remove it on the fly (if you remember). Unlocking the clip from the hot end will give you back about 25mm or so. After that you will have to remove the first few segments to get the full height back. You may want to give this all a try and adjust you printer profile to avoid unintended clashes.

Hotend Clip (1) - Install first. This snaps on to the metal guide for the ribbon cable providing a good grip without rubbing either side of the cable. It also pulls the ribbon cable forward to avoid pinching as the printer seeks to zero (which yours may be doing now). See remixes for an updated v2 clip.

Z Bracket (1) - Remove the existing cable tie wrap mount and install this from underneath in it's place. The second screw is already underneath holding exactly nothing. You will likely need to remove the nut holding the top POM wheel to do this to avoid cross threading the 
longer screw. See remixes for a longer version of this bracket.

Base Clip (1) -  You will remove the original cable keeper and use this instead. It just snaps into the extrusion grooves like the original after the cable comes out the side of the printer towards the back. Gently add a curved turn to the cable to get it aligned with the clip.

Spine End (1) - It just floats without attachment as the last of the vertical spine elements. It ends at the heat shrink where the cables split out for the X stepper and fan bar.

Spine (about 60) - Keep from putting a slew on the hotend length and potentially losing vertical height. Keep the X motor wire loose and you should be close. These have a small split footprint and can be a challenge to print.

Print everything vertically without supports at a slow speed. Found the tighter the layer height the tighter the socket fit and less initial flex. Printing with PETG gave good results at 0.24 layer height. It will take a little while for the spine to itself settled once you have it installed.
