I needed an adapter to fit my Prusament spools on the A1 AMS Lite.  Prusaments spools are too small to fully fit on the AMS. They get stuck just as they come in contact with the AMS rubber feet. With this adapter, the adapter grabs snuggly onto the rubber feet and the spool stays in place with the nut. No cutting, no transferring your Prusament filament over to spools that fit.

*I uploaded a longer nut to accommodate for Matter Hacker spools with 51mm center holes.

Installing spool:

  1. 1ST install the shaft into the prusament spool, slightly squeezing the shaft until it pops out the other end.
  2. Then slide the spool onto the AMS
  3. Secure nut onto the threaded spool holder
  4. To remove, repeat steps in opposite order.

!! IMPORTANT !! :

The shaft MUST be printed with 5-6 perimeters/wall loops!! It may break if you don't.

Settings:

  • PETG
  • 15% Infill
  • 6 perimeters/wall loops
