Description
Shell I made for my old Zowie FK1 PCB (2015, might be the same pcb for all the Zowie's from that era) which was already in an old Logitech mouse without the scroll wheel or side buttons. Could not find the scroll wheel or side buttons anywhere so I decided to make this simplified mouse. Clicks are nice, and the ergonomics are decent, even if it does not look like it. Still works perfectly fine in FPS games if you don't need the scroll wheel all the time, like I usually do.
Mine did not need skates and I would assume it does not work with skates without modifications. Lift-of-distance is already quite borderline and does not work without mousepad 100% of the time. Maybe you can change the LOD, but that might require the side buttons if I remember correctly.
Printed in PLA with 0.1mm layer height, 20% cubic, with paint on supports on the shells edges and cross brace. Printed easily and supports came right off, about a 2 and half hour print with those settings. About 30g for the plastics + PCB, decently light but nothing special. The two PCB screws from the Zowie are required, or similar.
Endgame gear XM2we for reference.
