Description
Wall mounted mushroom art, I added .6mm of height to certain parts of the model to allow multicolored prints. This can be done on any printer! The one pictured was printed on a simple single extruder printer with no additional multi-material setup. Only 2 spools of filament is required.
The included 3mf file has the stop code I used to change the color of the filament mid print. I also uploaded the raw STL file in case you'd like to make your own.
If this is your first filament swap print and you're wondering how, the 3mf file should create gcode that stops your printer and moves the printhead out of the way. This allows you to change filament, load a new color into your printer, and EXTRUDE UNTIL DESIRED COLOR IS PRODUCED UNIFORMLY. Then, all that's required is resuming the print through your printer's interface, and you're done!
