Description
There are many bag clip models available, yet none completely met my needs. Some are only PETG-compatible, while others compatible with PLA quickly lose their strength. Additionally, issues like sharp edges, the need for supports, or overly tight tolerances were common.
So, I created my own design.
These bag clips are specifically designed for PLA (although they remain compatible with other materials), featuring a latch mechanism that avoids the need for bending and remains durable over time. They sport a subtle curve for added strength and enduring clamping power. The design is user-friendly, with smooth edges for comfortable handling. They print support-free on printers with good bed adhesion, though otherwise mouse ears might help for the hook part. With forgiving tolerances, they should print easily on any well-calibrated printer.
The first two numbers in the file names indicate the clip's section thickness – the larger the number, the more heavy-duty the clip. Although they all print well with 3 walls, this can be increased for extra durability. The third number indicates the usable length of the clip, i.e., the width of the clamping area.
