Gamecube Wavebird Receiver Cover

I was getting distracted by the LED light on the wavebird coming on and off. It's not so distracting in action games where you're pretty much always pressing a button, but I've found myself playing a lot of RPGs lately and the intermittent button presses causes the LED to light up and turn off frequently. That led me to design this cover for the wavebird receiver so that the LED is not visible. It's designed to be printed in 2 parts. One for the cover itself and then another for the accent. You will need to use a dark colour in order for this to work otherwise the LED will still shine through. You could put a bit of tape on the accent card to block out more light but you will need to reduce the width of the card to compensate. I have printed this in a dark purple and this blocks out all of the light. If you're struggling with fitment then reduce the size of the accent card in all dimensions.

The cover itself needs to be printed with supports otherwise the gamecube logo won't print correctly, I have printed this with organic supports and it works really well and comes away very easily.
