Description
UPDATED 28th Jan 2024 …
I have updated the files to have zero tolerance between the adaptor plate and the spool hole … it is now a snug fit and this makes the spool roll better rather than clunk as it rotated with the previous 2mm of play.
There is one for the LHS and one for the RHS as amazingly the Tecor spools are slightly conical. LHS / RHS is measured with the spool pointing towards you with the filament coming towards you from the top of the spool.
PREVIOUS
I couldn't find any existing Tecor adaptors for Repwinder as of Jan 2024 so I created these.
For Tecor spools, (Inkstation) print 2 of these, one for each side.
They key into the Repwinder's 4 holes in the standard base / cap and standard ring / cap.
They key in with Tecor spools via teeth that when tightened down hit the mini ridges radiating out of the spool as well as having a small recess into the spool hole to ensure the spool remains centred.
I printed at 10% infill with PETG and grid infill to save filament and for speed. You do what works for you.
OpenScad file included so you can modify if you need for other manufacturers spools.
