Description
This is a fun set of glasses to bring to a party or sport event in team colors. You can “mostly” see through the holes when wearing the glasses. If you have impaired vision you might have a harder time.
The glasses print without any support flat on the face. The arms can print on the back flat side but that orientation puts the layer adhesion under the most stress. I prefer to print them on the top edge with a little support, this makes them less likely to break under stress. See the included gcode for how I print these.
There is only a file for the left side arm. You will need to duplicate the arm and mirror one in the slicer to create the right side arm.
I use small lengths of filament for the rivets. Take a soldering iron to the ends of the filaments to form the rivet heads. If you need more information about the rivets see my rivet cutter tool.
