Description

After having trouble with the buttons not working in colder weather, I found via youtube videos, that the button backside and circuit board was most likely dirty.  Unfortunatly the case is glued together and very difficult to seperate.  Although some peope have seperated it sucessfully, mine didn't survive pulling it apart.  So I created a new case for it, and once I cleaned the contacts for the buttons, it now works like a charm.  Another problem might be cold solder joints causing the issue, so you can do a quick reheat of all the solder joints to fix the button issue also, but mine was just dirty.

This is a snap fit case.  and since there are slight angles you may want to sand down the rough edges I put 0.20mm extra on the sloped services a quick rub on some sandpaper will make it nice and smooth, it also makes the battery door fit better.

I printed this with a 0.60 nozzle in PLA, but I am sure it would do just fine in 0.40mm also.

If you have problems seperating due to excessive glue then this is your ticket to fixing it.

This model opener is also used from some other brands and may work with them also, but I have not tried those, just the craftsman 315 opener.
