Extruder cable clip for Prusa i3 mk3s

This is a small clip for the extruder cable.

I was not satisfied by less fixing of the extruder cable of my i3 mk3s.

The textile cable sleeve easily gets out of the original clamp and then the cable slack rubs the printing bed slightly.

This 19min-print holds the cable in position and avoid some trouble.

I printed it by PETG in order to make it flexible enough. (I used SUNLU PETG, the setting in the sliced data is made as default “Generic PETG”)

To open the clip, just twist it. To close it, pinch it by fingers. Then the snap hooks will work.

Files named “v2” are modified version which local thickness (at front side of holding hooks) is changed from 2.0 to 1.6mm based on comment I got. I tested it myself and seems to be OK but I will wait some feedback and probably delete first one(thickness 2.0mm all-around). please leave your comment if you find something.

Thank you for all your comments! It seems “v2”(local thickness of the hooks 1.6mm) works just fine. So I deleted original version. However, I'm currently testing "v3" which i reduced the local thickness to 1.2mm(3 perimeters), since some people still have some problem. so far it holds enough on my i3 mk3s. hope it solves some remaining issues.

エクストルーダケーブル用のクリップです。

i3 mk3s オリジナルのケーブルクランプはあまり保持力が高くなく、テキスタイル製のケーブルスリーブが割と簡単に外れてしまい、そうなるとケーブルのたるみが微妙にプリントベッドに擦れてしまうことがありました。

このクリップ(19分でプリントできます)がケーブルを正しい位置に保持してトラブルを防ぎます。

柔軟性を持たせるため材料はPETGを使いました。(SUNLU製 PETG使用。スライスデータはGeneric PETGのデフォルト設定になっています)

クリップはひねって開くことができ、閉じるには指でつまめばフックがかかります。

“v2"と名前のついたファイルは、コメントに基づき一部の厚み(両端の保持フック部の前面)を2.0から1.6㎜に変更したバージョンです。自分でテストしてみて良さそうではありますが、少しの間フィードバックを待ち、その後おそらく最初のファイル(すべて2.0㎜厚)を削除します。気づいたことあればコメントください。

皆さんコメントありがとうございます。v2で問題ないようなので、オリジナルを削除しました。しかしまだ干渉があるケースもあるようなので現在私はさらにフック部前面を薄く(1.2㎜)したv3をテスト中です。私のmk3sで見ている限り良さそうなので、これで上手くいくと良いのですが。
