Description
Multi purpose PC simulator instrument. 3 ways to place dials or buttons, blind caps to close unused holes. Module fits Saitek / Honeycomb yoke and throttle qudrant and can be mixed with components for these. Use 7mm standard dials and buttons. Holder for Arduino Nano module, that can be placed behind any of the 3 positions not used for dial or button. Small breadboards also fits and can be placed behind a dial if needed.
Do not create support in the slot in the bottom half of the paper insert, it is a pain to get out. Hand paint support and keep clear as shown in picture. Room for plastic laminated paper in paper slot. I print instrument on front and take notes for setting up Arduino on the back.
Button will not fit all dials due to small variations in shaft size.
I am creating instruments found in PA-28. Next project will be GNS530 and GNS430, but expect it to take me a while to create.
There will be a series of dummy boxes to put in empty places or custom build if needed.
Accessories for all instruments can be downloaded here, I will not uploade duplicates with other models.
V1 and V2 boxes are alike, except there are no holes for V1 arduino in V2 box. I redrew the box to fix some drawing mistakes, that did it more difficult to continue to improve and edit on the box.
14/2-24: I found that the Arduino NANO box don't support the USB port enough, so it is possible the USB port can brake off. Please use V2 or V2.1.
