24.01.2024 - I am waiting on my plexiglas panels

27.01.2024 -  The first prototype is put together. I've discovered multiple promblems/fixes/improvements I wanna do. 

27.02.2024 - Added a Model “Housing_Top_Back_Left_Bottom_BowdenTube” for the Bowdentube to be inserted from the Back, updated some dimensions for some of the Plexiglas panels. Since 0,25mm is a bit too little clearance. I found it pretty safe to use the soldering iron to “drill” these holes since some of them are prone to crack the plexiglas at the edge.

This is a housing for the new Two Trees SK1.

The front door and the lid are detachable.

I am going to use some kind of 0,2mm Acryltape, to stop the Plexiglas panels from ratteling.

Since the holes are pretty close to the end of the panels, I recommend to use a soldering iron to burn a hole panels otherwise the holes can break the panels.

Front Door:

• 386x373x2mm Plexiglas - 12x31mm cutout for the upper hinge - 12x24mm for the lower hinge
• 3x 30x10x2mm Magnets
• 3x 30x10x0,5-1mm steelsheet

Hinge:

• Except for the “Housing_Front_Swivel_Hinge” print every part once.
• "Housing_Front_Swivel_Hinge" printed twice
• 2x M3x20 socketheadscrew
• 2x M3 hexnut
• 4x M3x4 - VoronType heatsetinsert
• 4x M3x10 countersinkscrew

Knob:

• 2x M3x10 flatheadscrew 
• 2x M3x4 - VoronType heatsetinsert

Sides:

• 3x  387x375x2mm Plexiglas
• 12x M4x10 flatheadscrew  - 4 for each panel
• Use a marker to mark the holes from the frame on the panels

Lid:

Plexiglas

• 379x379x2mm - TopPanel           OLD: 379,5x379,5x2
• 4x 75x375x2mm - Sidepanels     OLD: 75,5x375x2

Parts:

• 2x M5x30 socketheadscrew
• 2x M5 hexnut
• 74x M3x4 - VoronType heatsetinsert
• 56x M3x8 socketheadscrew
• 18x M3x12 socketheadscrew
• 6x  M4x12 socketheadscrew to replace the one that goes in the frame in the back
• The internals of the Lid are chamfered 45 degree to be able to use LEDs 
• “Housing_Top_Back_Right_Corner_XT60” or “Housing_Top_Back_Right_Corner” one to use if you want to put LED in the Lid
• In every blind hole there need to be a heatsetinsert

The filament guide is a replacement for the original one, so that you are able to close the lid. You need a longer screw, like a M4x10

Please remeasure your needed panel size, I included 1mm leeway. For the frontdoor I've choosen 2-3mm.
