Description
This is a blind shaker used to de-clump coffee grinds. As shown in the video by Lance Hedrick. The method seems to be working even better than WDT.
It's my first version of this Blind Shaker
- Printed in PLA however PETG will also work.
- 0.2 mm Layers, (lower layer heights will make it look even better).
- Tested ;-) and it works
Note: The blind shakers found in different (online) stores are often made of metal. Their surface is much smoother and almost no grinds will remain. 3D printed surfaces are much rougher so take into account that some grinds will remain.
I have some ideas for a version 2, but for now, this version works well (for me)
** please be aware PLA and or PETG are not always food safe.
update: V2.
Has a smaller part in the middle allowing for more room for the grinds to flow around this part.
update v3. Per suggestions of this great community, I added a version of the dosing-cup that can ‘stand’ / fit on top of your 58mm basket.
update (feb 5th). Thanks for the great comments and suggestion! I love this community. I'm trying to implement them, sometimes they are easy and I do it right away. Some may take a little longer and will be part of a V3. Smaller changes and updates will be under V2.
