Replacement Vent Cover with Fan Mount
A fully configurable OpenSCAD model of a replacement vent cover with a fan mount for indoor and outdoor use.
I needed this vent cover to add active ventilation to a duct outdoors.
Because this cover might be exposed to water and dust I have used the Noctua NF-F12 industrialPPC-2000 IP67 PWM fan.
Printing guidelines
- Setup OpenSCAD and export the stl file
- Install the scad-utils library
- Optionally modify the project
- Set parameters using OpenSCAD Customizer
- Export the stl file
- No supports are needed
- Print in PETG or PLA with a 50% gyroid infill
- Make sure to print in PETG, if you plan to use this part outdoors
