Coaster with cork option

I needed a coaster for iced drinks, which usually collect a lot of condensation water. Just my cork coaster wasn't enough because there was too much water everywhere.

So i've created a simple tray, which can be used as a coaster on its own to hold the water in place. If no cold drink is placed on top of it, it's just big enough that the initial cork coaster fits inside.

Next iteration might have a grill so that the iced drink does not stand in the water, but i didn't want to have a bulky, noticeable higher coaster on my side of the desk.

Cork coaster options

I got my cork coaster at a generic store but 10cm seems to be a pretty standard size for such coasters. Search for “AVSKILD” at IKEA or just google it in general ;)
