Description

A version for 3 hanging on a ribbon can be found here: https://www.printables.com/model/755768 - the backs are different.

03-22-2024 UPDATE: Thanks to @KimW_1916329 for the idea, I have added a new back, with a thumb hole to aid in sliding the tile in and out.

02-02-2024 - edited to replace Frame Back file - made the indentation just slightly wider to better accommodate the deckled edge of the ZHQ tiles.

Printer: Ender 3 Pro modified
Rafts: No
Supports: No
Resolution: .2
Infill: 15%
Filament: PLA

A simple frame that allows for a quick change. Simply slide the tiles (3.5" sq art paper) in and out at the slot in the top. Inside dimension is 3.3" sq so the very edge of the tile will not show.

Print the top and back. Glue together, making sure the back is face up (you will see a slight indentation, which extends all the way to the edge on one side) Use just a small bead of glue along the center of the 3 raised edges of the back frame. Put the top on, I like to use the side that was face down on my textured print bed as the front of the frame. The texture looks great.

Slide your completed tile in at the slot at the top. It should go right in and the edges will be held by the frame.  Easy to change tiles. I have used it with card stock tiles as well as the Zentangle®, Inc official tiles. Thicker paper, you may need to adjust the Z up on your slicer a tiny bit to get a deeper impression.

This does not have any easel with it, there are several varieties available on Printables, you can choose your favorite style. You can also glue or use self adhesive magnets to display your art on the refrigerator. Or print three (or more) attach picture hangers on the back and have a wall display arrangement (See note at the beginning of this.)
