Cable Chain / Cable Protector [MK4]

Since my cats like chewing on them, i needed a simple and light solution to protect the cables on my prusa mk4.

I found the promising model of PJC 3D Printing but it didnt 100% fit my requirements. So i've made a remix with little design changes. Main reason was that i wanted a slightly stronger connection between the parts.

Technical Data:

• original sized part fits a cable with max. 8mm in diameter

What you need to upgrade your mk4s cables:

• x27 cable protector with original size (for printbed cable)
• x27 cable protector with original size (for z axis motor cable)
• x27 cable protector with 150% scaled up (for printhead cable)

Important Note:

When using on your printers cables, make sure the cable chain cannot get stuck on any edges while printing.

Recommended print settings:

• for the printbed i raised the temperatur to 70°C, that way i didnt need a brim. With standard temperature some of the parts got lose while printing without brim
• 0.2 mm layer height / PLA
