Description
Currently setup as a micro reef, I wanted something affordable that could support a marine system so I developed this model as an all in one system. The perfect size and well planned chambers create a seamless, silent filtration system for a 1 gallon cube aquarium. Epoxy coated for safety. Easy to access, just slide tank forward.
50 gph submersible pump
5-10 watt submersible heater
Sponge filter compartment
Bio media/carbon compartment
Chamber separator ledges for media basket
Chord/Cable slot
assembly info:
This is almost ready off the printer, if you use supports you will need to get them out from under the baffles which can be tough, I used a curved pick. Next, coat in fish safe epoxy resin. then add filter media, and return pump. Run the hose around the back and over use the hose clip file to clip .3 in hose to tank. Heater optional in return chamber.
On the tank part, chose a corner and with a forester bit drill a hole the diameter of your tubing (you can mark your hole by placing the tank on top of the sump and marking where the return chamber is. Then use the baffle file and place that 45 degrees on the corner you drilled, and silicone in place.
Note: Will need to drill your tank for water return to sump.
