Ikea MELLTORP table Anti-Wobble Stabilizer

I use an Ikea Melltorp table as a stand for my 3d printers, and as the table wobble quite a lot during printing, I tried to stabilise it with additional wooden braces between the table legs.

To hold the wood in place, I designed brackets which can be clamped to the legs with a 3d-printed screw. There are two different types of brackets, one is simply a mirrored version of the other one (therefore the screw from the mirrored bracket turns the other way round).

The brackets also have holes to secure the wooden braces into the bracket with wood screws.

What you'll need for a MELLTORP 125x75cm table :

• 2 brackets "Type 1" and 2 brackets “Type 2” (I only used three to add braces to one long and one short side, but braces between every leg would be sturdier)
• 2x wood 44x69x1180 mm (verify the length on your table!)
• 2x wood 28x94x550 mm (verify the length on your table!)
• 8x wood screws (I used 4,5x40mm screws)
