Prusa Enclosure PTFE Entry

As I occasionally print Manual Multicolor and always print via PTFE Tubes out of Dryboxes, I place my Drybox on top of the Enclosure and need a way to guide the PTFE in. For me, coming via the top seems natural.

So, I designed this entry point for up to five PTFE Tubes.

This is my third iteration, now using another five larger diameter PTFE Tubes (5mm/6mm ID/OD) to guide the PTFE tubes between my Drybox and the printhead as this drastically reduces drag and eliminates some issues I had before where the Filament Tubes could catch on something, or lowering z axis needed you to assist if to much of the Tube was outside of the enclosure.

Printing:

It should be quite straightforward; no support is needed, and nothing is hard to print. I used Prusament PETG and a 0.4mm nozzle.

Print as many Plugs for unused holes as you want.

Installation:

• Insert the 6mm PTFE from the bottom of the part and cut to length with a sharp knife.
• Use the original plastic rivets to secure the place in the enclosure (I could reuse mine after carefully pushing out the pin on the original part.
