Description
This is an adapter to fit a Dremel or similar rotary tool to lathes using 5/16'' cutting tools. It was made for a Myford ML7 but will also fit other lathes.
The thread is M19 x 2mm.
It has a hexagonal recess and a counterbore to to install an M3 bolt and nut to lock the tool thread if needed.
The TOP side of the tool is indicated as it was necessary to increase its thickness near to the maximum height allowed by my toolpost (12mm), for strength reasons, and must be respected to maintain the centre of the rotary tool aligned with the centre of the chuck.
