Description
When building my “The 100” v1.1 printer, I had issues of the gantry being skewed. Carefully re-assembling it a few times, I couldn't get it right. The last thing to check was whether the X carriage was square to the Y carriage along the Z axis. I printed this simple yet handy little square to help me out and found that the X axis was tilted backward just a bit.
The easiest way to square it up is to open up the bearing block and add a small slice or two of electrical tape to the top of one end of the bearing so that when re-assembling it, it tilts in the correct direction to square the gantry.
My gantry, after doing this, was left with a skew of only 0.3 degrees which was easily compensated by Klipper.
