Description
This is a casing for an OpenDTU / AhojDTU made from 3 parts. This allows you to read the inverter data of your Hoymiles inverter e.g. for a balcony solar panel.
For ordering the right electronic components see pictures. I ordered everthing on Aliexpress.
- I assembled the housing parts with M3 metal inserts and fitting screws (M3x10).
(The bottom plate is dedicatedly only using 3 screws, because of an installation space collision withthe ESP32 board.)
- The NRF24 module is just fixed by its own antenna and doesnt require further screws.
- The ESP32 board requires some small plastic screws that I reused from some old remote control.
- The display is mounted with M2,5 metal inserts and fitting screws. (from some old electronics)
- Since only a part of the display is used, I added a black tape to the bottom part for better optics.
The housing is designed with an intentional gap between the two parts for a dedicated shadow-line.
For documentation see (both variants should be possible, I used OpenDTU):

Since this modelling took quite a lot of time, please consider a small contribution to my Paypal. It would be well appreciated :)
