Wrench to widen eyeglasses at temple

I bought a new pair of glasses from Zenni, and needed to widen them so that the arms won't pinch my head. I wanted to adjust them outward at the temple, but the arms are thin steel and I didn't want to accidentally bend them in the middle or break the hinges.

I solved this by making a small wrench that slides over the arm, with space for the hinge. I wrapped the arms in masking tape so that they would fit tightly into the wrench (while also protecting the finish), and was able to get a good grip to bend the frame.

If your glasses are similar to mine, then this wrench might work for you. Otherwise, you can use this as an example to make your own version. The key is to get a tight fit at the spot where you want to bend the frame, so that you can put pressure on it.

I printed it with three walls and 20% infill.
