Description
These are my attempts in adding support to the display module of the Button+ in its most upper position. With the V1 block it is at least secured for bending/breaking it backwards. V2 is more advanced, it clicks in the display module. Please read the instructions before printing
Button plus is a multi functional home automation display with buttons. https://button.plus
Is the easiest to print and install it sits around the the upper connector and on top of the base module.
Is a back plate with a little hook that should hold the display module better in place. The whole print should be mounted between the wall and the aluminum plate. The Button+ must be completely dissembled.
Printing can be challenging because of the small details on top of the print. I printed in ASA, because PLA was not strong enough. ABS might work as well. To keep the best margins, I can suggest to set your slider to print from outside to inside. Also support under the little hooks is advised as well.
Print on the photo's was printed using a Bambulab X1, in ASA and with a layer height of 0.08mm
The easiest way to align the back plate, is to put in the screws in the aluminum plate and run then all the way through while the printed part is behind it. Then mount it together on the wall box and then remove the screws and finish the rest of the mounting. For the display mounting, first click in the little hooks then click it on the connector.
