Description
A printable Multiboard system which supports metric bolt and nut to hold anything to the Multiboard.
I created this to hold anything without having to remix the model substantially or adding any big connector, with this you just need a few holes 25mm apart.
Depending on the size of the item you need to hold, you might want to stabilize the back of the item to the Multiboard, for this you can use any snap as the depth of this connector matches with any standard snap.
This system makes it easy to connect anything to the Multiboard by just adding a small hole to the part you want to hold.
I made a drilling template you can use (note that you can even hang the object by using both pin and bolt, just be careful of the distance between those.
Those parts use a 2.1 mm hole, but a 2-3mm hole should work fine, as long as the bolt head is bigger than that.
(Note that the distances between each pin in the multiboard is 25mm in either horizontal and vertical direction).
An M2 bolt and nut (~15-20mm) for the small pin connector and M2 or M3 for the big connector.
Install the nut in the back of the connector by pressing it in, you can use the bolt to keep the nut straight while you push it into the printed part.
This connector has the same depth as a standard multiboard snap https://www.multiboard.io/parts-library/snaps . Because of this, you can use snaps to stabilize the things you hold with this connector
(The spacer is added by design to allow the clearance to hand anything close to multiboard wall holders.
I was inspired by the Multiconnect System by David D, I created this as a way to hold things with a smaller modification to parts.
