2-1 RJ-11/RJ-12 Splitter Mount

This mount is to enable the use of a Digirig as well as the original hand mic. In order to set this up, you will need a short section of RJ-12 flat cord to run under the radio and back to the mounting location of the splitter. When this is set up, you will still be able to use the hand mic to type in a frequency or move around the 2m band.  I set it up so that the single port is pointed to the front for the hand mic and the 2 ports towards the rear of the radio for the Digirig cable and the flat RJ-12 cord. 

This mount is made to work with this RJ-12 Splitter from Amazon. It is made to mount onto the Armoloq pack frame for the FT-2980. Mounting is accomplished by using 2 M4 Camming T-Nuts found here on Amazon. It is also designed to use 2 regular size M3 heatset inserts from CNCKitchen.
