Description
Got a brand new K1 Max and the thing kept clogging. Went hunting for a solution and ran across @RetroD ‘s K1 Max Lid Riser. This thing is an absolute must if you’re looking to get consistent prints out of your K1 Max. The only thing missing from this was some type of gasket to really seal everything in tight.
I designed a custom gasket for the top of this riser: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/k1-max-risers-with-cable-chain-mod
Retro has an entire host of upgrades for the K1 and K1 Max. I'd highly suggest you check them out if you're looking for some real quality upgrades for your machine: https://cults3d.com/en/design-collections/RetroD/aim6mac-featured-upgrades-for-k1-max
Print Settings:
-Print in TPU
-Minimum 3 wall loops
-5 Top Layers 5 Bottom Layers
-Clone/duplicate the model by 3. You should have a total of 4 corners. I've mad them small enough to fit on a standard ender machine.
This gasket is a very nice touch to the great design by RetroD.
