Introducing the TPU crutches top pad with no supports needed! Satisfying fits securely into place. Cushions your underarms quite effectively with squishy chamfered edges. Including some notes below to make sure this is a success for you.
Use 5% (or less) grid infill – we want to make sure there is plenty of air in there to make it a cushion
This will print exactly as it will be oriented on your crutches, the top is printed up. I have diagonal walls sloping inwards to ensure that no support is needed for the roof
Use thin walls, I did just 2 loops. You can also totally do fewer bottom/top layers than normal to make it as soft as possible, but probably at minimum 2/3 top layers to ensure a smooth finish.
In case it isn't clear, this needs to be printed using TPU, otherwise it will be hard and might not fit
This has worked great for me, but I still recommend wearing a shirt/something that covers your armpits while using this to avoid irritation. Same goes for a normal crutch pad though
