Description
Allows for ~.80 ID pipe (3/4" EMT) to be used for windshield support for a boat.
Similar to Taylor Made 1636 Windshield Support Bar.
While these are not designed to be grabbed onto in rough seas, apparently they are conveniently located on my boat for my passenger to grab onto...
The Window-Base replaces the cast metal part that attaches to the windshield beneath the stock ball receiver and should mount to the windshield with the stock hardware.
It can be improved a bit, - the width of commonly available binding posts/barrel bolts are 1" and I need to file those back about an 1/8" - I should have made my part 1" wide or 33.3% width of 1" for each interfacing member.
