Improved Gift Ring Box

This print-in-place box with an insert for a ring is the perfect container for the maker to show their love.

Want the heart on it? Print it as-is, and you will get a subtle heart design.
Want it plain? slice off the bottom layer and you'll get a flat bottom.

There are three versions with different tolerances on the print in place hinge. The normal one should be good enough for most, use the larger tolerances for a scaled down version, but it may be loose if printed at 100% or more. 

The new compliant mechanism printed insert allows you to attach a ring to stand up within the box for maximum presentation value! Inside height of 35 mm should accommodate most rings with no or moderate sized stones. Alternatively, use a piece of foam with a slice in the middle.

Can allow up to 30 mm (outer) diameter ring, which should accommodate even the largest of rings.
