Description
If you have a PowerBook 150, its plastics are probably crumbling – especially in the display assembly. This is an assortment of repair pieces that you can glue in. It includes:
--Replacement hinge brackets for the rear display housing, to replace broken standoffs. You'll want to retain and heatstake the brass inserts into them after gluing into place. They're not interchangeable; the piece with gap on the side is for the right (it's for the backlight cable), while the piece with gap in the middle is for the left side. (Note that the middle bit on this piece will not sit flat against the rear housing, so you only need to apply glue to the areas where the inserts go.)
--Replacement standoff for the upper-right corner of the LCD. It's shorter than the others, but could easily be made taller to work in those locations too.
--Replacement screw base for the front bezel. When the hinge standoffs break, often times the screw going through the bezel will break through. These can be glued in place to allow the screw to secure the bezel again.
