Yarn Spool Holder

My wife asked me to design a yarn ball / cake holder with a spinning spindle.  This is the result.

The spindle is attached to the base with a 608-2RS 8x22x7mm bearing. You can glue the bearing in to the base for more stability. The spindle has been designed to be able to be removed from the base so it can break down and be carried or stored more easily. Alternatively, you could also glue the spindle into the bearing. Just be careful not to get glue in the moving parts.

This design should work really well for yarn balls and cakes.
