Case for dummy load 150W 200V 20A

I recently ordered this electronic load from Aliexpress (200V 150W Adjustable Constant Current Electronic Load Battery USB Tester DC 12V 24V Lead-acid lithium Discharge Capacity Meter), and I was surprised there is no available case for it.

After a few days of desperate browsing the internet, I found a brilliant model from Dmitriy Rossolov on grabcad.com. I immediately tried to print, but the STLs were corrupted, and some little details were off.

Fortunately, Dimitry published the STEP file (so do I here) and I could easily do all the modifications that moved this alpha model to a fully functional print.

Printing

In general, no supports are needed, the thin bridge over the USB ports on the lower part is an easy bridge.

For the panel part, I had better results with using supports for the thin part near screw terminals, but it works fine with just bridges too.

I've chosen PET-G for better temperature stability.

Assembly

• 4x M3x16 + nuts for attaching the PCB to the frame (I recommend using paper washers that used to be used in PCs).
• 5x M3x20 for the bottom part of the panel part.
• 6x M3x25 for attaching the upper part (fan cover).
