Rubber boot for "FRZ" ladder -- Leiterfuß für "FRZ" Leiter / Tritt

We had a “FRZ”-Ladder in our household where the rubber boot fell apart because of their age. The plastic was very brittle and unfortunately there are no spare parts available because the company that produced these ladders most likely doesn't exist any more.

Maybe the boot could fits also other ladders, so I added my “construction notes” (see .pdf file). The tube cross section of 32,5mm x 18,5mm and reached 35mm into the boot.

So far I only had to replace the “me facing” boots. Should I need to replace the other ones as well I will add them here.

I printed the boots in extrudr ASA as I have never worked with flex material so far and had none at hand, also it matches the original colour quite well :). Prints without supports

The boot doesn't meet the original Geometrie 100% but if applied with some hot glue in the boot I experienced no slip off.

Da bei unserem Tritt der Firma “FRZ” der originale Leiterfuß aufgrund seines Alters zerbröselte habe ich die übrigen gebliebenen Stücke vermessen und einen Ersatz entwickelt. Leider gibt es für FRZ-Leitern keine Ersatzteile mehr.

Unter Umständen passt der Leiterfuß auch an andere Leitern, dafür im Anhang meine “Entwurfsskizzen” (siehe .pdf-Datei). Das Rohr der FRZ-Leiter hatte einen Querschnitt von 32,5mm x 18,5mm und es wurden 35mm Rohr vom Leiterfuß abgedeckt.

Bisher musste ich nur die vorderen Leiterfüße ersetzen, sollten die hinteren auch ihr Lebensalter überschreiten werde ich diese hier ergänzen.

Ich habe die Füße in ASA von extrudr gedruckt da ich leider noch keine Erfahrungen mit flexmaterial sammeln konnte und auch keines zur Verfügung hatte - netter Nebeneffekt; die Farbe stimmt recht gut überein. Für den Druck wird kein Support benötigt.

Der Leiterfuß wird am besten mit etwas Heißkleber eingesetzt, hält bisher ohne Probleme.
