Parts:

The ball bearing consists of four 3D-printed parts:
-> Inner ring
-> outer ring
-> Upper cage
-> Lower cage
You also need X steel balls and X M2 countersunk screws (adjustable in the parameters, 5 6mm balls and 5M2x8mm countersunk screws as standard). I bought my parts once in large quantities, then you pay a few cent per piece and have enough for your life. E.g:
-> Balls: https://www.amazon.de/210St%C3%BCck-Durchmesser-Fahrr%C3%A4der-Stahl-Kugellager/dp/B00PZSM514/ref=sr_1_6?crid=3CEGB8Q275KX3&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.8_1c-hIGWRPn-t-Iv725Jh_9aKyVf6F9Pf9bZPKx8NlGiYmrB7zTGaQi4w1Q7kmj9fQKwhNw6vk9t0AQ0LuRehPSlDzkrSxJLuRCLF3VzugLkaf_wHFPqqj8CXvDD0q55gMCgNANIC05Ogiwbgavf1rmDKP_h6mS7qmnv6OXlXSR2dHwxCMEQVsgOtOnBYQvTyk7auGyPu_cqiLRtgcjalD9kxIkC66oIP4DhxDVALQ.kzdWSsOfLJERqQbJUUL0G3u2ClXbnkxAIZ-Hu0SnH48&dib_tag=se&keywords=kugellager+kugeln+6mm&qid=1708417792&sprefix=kugellager+kugel%2Caps%2C191&sr=8-6

-> Screws (You can't get it well on Amazon, but here's a link anyway. Otherwise look at professional shops, but there is often a high minimum order value): https://www.amazon.de/Innensechskantschrauben-Edelstahl-Innensechskant-Schrauben-Sortiment/dp/B0B97MRCP2/ref=sr_1_22?__mk_de_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&crid=35XKLCPBCH7I5&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.trQJoBVSvXdhdZfYpjPmR0LxLqeQhY1Y-8PYWlSMi7x4RfsiefWQoWg_m6P4GFNVL1S15Nu1_wthq2OGiN7CeP9mJ8rq_xvzE9alQJr8rpw_a_KykJOaPzxXiq38Kfzr6NrNwp2mNhd_RqS3wVsx_o_k4RSOGN1GwuyhPHXahJ7U59LulQoBom6AMr1WoI4UoysQyOWgm34R01H1tuGZYyq602M_dp_xIlK4U7sH_NogVn6dIo79voaJcQb7cSqtcoYgB-LnKVoZfm3CWG2O6vHpTKQP3jmxkq1tIfJpyq4.iFeizWhzizhOsOJuB8qmFG6rU1kHHCKYdlBx_y5mNDQ&dib_tag=se&keywords=m2x8+innensechskant+senkkopf&qid=1708417888&sprefix=m2x8+innensechskant+senkkop%2Caps%2C172&sr=8-22-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9tdGY&psc=1

Parameters

The model has many parameters. There are five parameters (marked as favourites) that can be changed as required without risk. These are intended to customise the model:

-> DM_Innen (Inner diameter of the ball bearing)

-> DM_Kugel (Diameter of the balls)

-> WS_Seiten (The wall thicknesses of the individual rings. Please do not make them too thin)

-> T_KugelKäfig (Half the space that the cage leaves for the balls. I recommend at least 0.1 mm. The rest depends on your printer, but don't make it too wide)

-> T_Drucktoleranz (Expansion required by the guides for the balls in both rings so that the bearing can rotate freely. Too little and the bearing rotates very slowly, too much and the inner ring is no longer centred. The exact value depends on your printer, but I think it's a pretty good value.)

For large or very small internal diameters, you can also adjust the number of balls (parameter: N_Balls). However, please be very careful with this, as the ball bearing can quickly become unmountable with too many or too few balls

Assembly

I'm not going to lie, it's very annoying at the beginning and without a base you lose a few balls, but once you've got the trick down it's quite reliable:
1. stand the outer ring upright (like a tyre).
2. place the balls in the guide one after the other so that they don't fall out on their own (if they don't all fit, take one less and add it later)
3. take the inner ring and place it on top of the outer ring and press it down so that it is centred on the balls
4. move the individual balls around the inner ring so that they are all the same distance apart
5. place the two halves of the cage around the balls from above and below
6. screw both cage halves together with the screws

There is a reference file in which you can see how everything looks when assembled

So now you have all the information, good luck and have fun with the ball bearing. Feel free to upload makes and let me know how they work for you
