Description
This design turns your re-usable cardboard filament spool (1kg) into a SUPERMASSIVE capacity spool for your garage or workshop.
PLA + material was used for testing, as the design is intended for stability and strength.
This is a large print, and will use quite a bit of filament. An MK3S+ machine was used for printing all 16 wedge shapes and the center pins/washers/nut. NO SUPPORTS NEEDED!
This spool could potentially hold all filament but would be VERY heavy (5kg or more). Use some discretion.
The design is completely original and I thought it up to hold my un-wieldy Xmas lights from Costco.
Some final testing and checking is still ongoing, please let me know if you have any questions.
