Description
Stock, Handguard and other parts for the SBS SLAB. Also a bunch of info to make your own, listed in random order.
-Only 2 c4 and t4 bars are required for assembly. 2 12 inch threaded rods (10-24 or 10-32) are used.
-The pins for the magwells and levers are 2 3 inch clevis pins and 2 3.5 inch pins. You cannot use the 3 inch pins in the lever or magwell. Pin I used for the 3.5 inch one that is hard to find. https://www.mcmaster.com/92735A159/
-The Stock provided is the default slab stock, but with a buttplate that is flat. Other stocks can be resized in the z to match the ones provided if desired.
-The handguard is specific to this sbs slab, but other handguards can be created based on this handguard. I used 2 of these for this handguard specifically. https://www.printables.com/model/685908-sillybutts-slab-minimal-lower-handguard-mounting-p
-The levers requires supports near the pivoting pins for clearing the threaded rods. Dont put supports anywhere else.
-The top cover requires support for the back tab and on one side of the inside ledge
-The standard magwell most likely does not fit. I used angled ones and they barely clear.
-The side plates require supports for the overhang.
-I dumped the files here of what I used for my build. Including the duplicates and not modified parts. Because finding and compiling parts for a reference is ass. They are the ones in the folders.
-There are pictures for assembling the "internals", as it is not clear in the original.
-There are dummy bar spacers for the muzzle. This prevents the pins from moving around too much. Print 2 of them and attach to the muzzles.
-The part that holds the treaded rod must spin freely on the trigger linkage. I drilled out the hole so it rotates, while a 4-40 screw holds the part on.
Some parts need 2 parts of the same thing, but mirrored.
Remixed https://www.printables.com/model/308896-slab-shroud/comments because no derivatives is stoopid.
