AWCY 3D TACTICAL 2A PRO AR JIG READYMILL 5/16" TO REGULAR ¼" BIT ADAPTER KIT
If you have printed the jig you may not be able to readily find the READYMILL adapter and 5/16 endmill tools that are designed to fit it… You may have noticed a lot of "OUT OF STOCK" notices.
This is my attempt to adapt a 1/4" endmill/router/some other bit for use in the jig.
If you have the 6002-Z bearing in your router plate - the bushing steps down from the 15mm ID of the 6002-Z to 1/4".
This version is slightly tighter and longer - 15mm-to-quarter-in-bushing-only_0.4n_0.2mm_PLA_MK4_20m
Also added 5/16" bushing
Also provided the 3 sizes of printable bushings, because those will need to change to 1/4" OD.
The originals specified are 8mm, which is ~5/16 - your milled out lower interior will end up
about 1/16" too narrow if you use the 8mm spacers and a 1/4" bit.
( I do not have much faith in printing these small/narrow bushings… The vertical ones printed fine on my printer and tracked in the guide just fine. YMMV. Maybe the hardware store has nylon ¼ OD x .166 ID bushings that can be filed and fit. Also, the 8-32 inserts may cause an alignment problem if their holes are bigger than .25 - may fall into or askew in the hole)
These are the aluminum 1/4" spacers that you can purchase from McMaster.

ALSO NOTE: The screw head diameter of the 2 screws specified in the AWCY Jig instructions to hold the 8mm aluminum step bushings are .27in. These 2 screws head diameter needs to be ground down to less than (or equal…) to .25in . The .02 may not make a difference,
Chuck the screws in a drill and run them against a file or bench grinder, etc.
