BOBOVR Battery Dock (Anker PowerCore 10K Pro)

This replaces the BOBOVR Battery Dock and allows you to use an external power bank in its place while retaining the “hot swap” capabilities. I went with the Anker PowerCore 10K Pro.

The magnet holes in this remix are reduced to exactly 10mm as the 10.3mm were to wide for to press fit the magnets. I also added chamfers to the dock to make it bit more comfortable.

This model could still be improved as it feels like that the battery might detach from the dock during quicker movements. For me it is only an interim solution until the B100 Upgrade Kit becomes available. The Fusion 360 file is included if you want to make adjustments to the design.

Materials Needed

• 10x3mm Neodymium Magnets x8
• 30-50cm USB-C cable (preferably right angle for quest side)
• Anker PowerCore 10K Pro

• 0.2mm layer height
• 3 walls
• 15% infill (less might be also fine)
• Supports needed
