Description
If you are using the Pipetman L in your lab and the ejector button broke off, this is a 3D printable replacement part Ejector Button in full or half configuration using dowel pins for support. Alternatively you can buy a replacement part here:
https://www.pipettesupplies.com/product/pipetman-l-ejector-button-all-volumes-gilson/
If you do not want to disassemble the Pipetman L to replace the broken button, you can 3D print the “Half-Button” piece and attach it using 1mm thick wire or dowel pins that you press-fit into the holes of the button. You will need to drill 1mm holes in the remaining piece of the original ejector button to attach the dowel pins. The picture in the description uses this technique and both pipettes with 3D printed buttons in our lab have so far held up wonderfully.
If you find any issues or improvements to this part, please contribute to the project on Overleaf.
