Eyepiece Holder For SkyWatcher Dobsonian 6"

The standard eyepiece holder on most Dobsonians on the market are designed for the stock eyepieces that come shipped with the telescope. If you want to use better eyepieces, chances are you won't be able to fit them in the existing holder (premium eyepieces have bigger total diameter).

This design will fit the SkyWatcher Dobson 6" (150mm) without drilling new holes. Of course, this design can be fitted on almost any dobsonian mount if you drill new holes.

It will hold two 1.25" eyepieces and one 2" eyepiece. As the 6" dobson mount is smaller, there wasn't room for two 2" eyepieces. If you own a different mount than SkyWatcher (or a custom made one) you can use the 8"-16" model with 2x1.25" and 2x2" slots. As i do not own a 6" dobsonian, i don't have pictures with eyepieces mounted but you can check my 8-16" model design to see how the eyepieces fit.
