Hammer++ (+Nail Holder, +Finger Saver)

Nail that job, with all the tools you need in one place.  No more loosing track of nails.  And the finger saver is always there when you need it.

The Mk1 holder holds the nails in place with a rubber band.  It has a groove that allows easy inserting of nails.  The Mk1 has a high nail holding capacity.

I made the Mk2 version, because I had lots of 8mm neodymium magnets leftovers from making the extruder indicators.  The magnets make it a cinch to use.

Construction Notes:

I printed the model with ABS. Any plastic could be used, as long as it provide enough flex to wrap around the handle.

Both the holder and the finger saver were printed with a brim to prevent it lifting from the bed.  You can print the finger saver with 100% infill, if you want it to be stronger.

Before attaching the nail holder to the handle, you can pre-bend the links, this will help the holder to sit tighter to the handle (Do not bend the link back and fore too many times, it may snap).

If the handle varies in thickness, you can add some cardboard or loop some rubber band to make up the thickness.

Mk1 version only:  The plastic will become whitish at the bends.  The discoloration can be remove with several thin layers of acetone (make sure to allow the acetone to complete dry between layers).  You can also cover the discoloration with a sharpie.
